How many publications will name, or have named Gears of War 3 game of the show? Or Battlefield 3? Or Star Wars The Old Republic? Or whoever? We are giving the prize to two wallet friendly games that totally kick ass. For the PC: FireFall, a FPS that will be FREE to play. Yep…FREE. Download, play, kick ass, have fun, and maybe download some cool assessories for cash to help support the game. FireFall to us is Gears + Halo + Transformers = FireFall. It really looks great for a game that still has several months for developement and polish. Watch the Video below for complete details on what this game will do.
Our next Game of the Show is Section 8 Prejudice. Another FPS coming out on the console arcades for just $15. This game is easily worth $60, but the price point is perfect to get a huge install base. Clans will LOVE this game. It is made for gaming clans from scratch. It even has dedicated servers. We will post a video of Section 8 Prejudice soon.
Chuck Rock interviewed ” The Sess ” at PAX East this year to talk about his career and upcoming games.

Today was the last day of the 2nd annual PAX East, an it hurt me to walk away. As I was walking out, I turned around to say goodbye, as I would to a friend or family member. But there was no one to say goodbye to. But was there? Yes there was. PAX East itself has its very own spirit. It’s not one person, it’s a collective, so to say. PAX East is a monster of a collective to say the least, but a gentle giant monster that loves me…and you. What an experience. I haven’t been this tired and sore in many years, but the adrenaline generated from this PAX monster was more than enough to make me forget about all the fatigue and muscle pains. In fact, I want to visit the monster again tomorrow, but it will be hibernating until later this year where it will emerge on the west coast. And I have to go back to work editing all the great interviews we did with Adam Sesler, Major Nelson, and many many more. And that was what PAX East was all about for National Championship Gaming, bringing you the latest and greatest gaming information that is out there. And we worked our collective asses off, and it was worth every penny and ache. Stay tuned, plenty more to come.

Either the trailer kicks ass and the game is going to suck, or the trailer kicks ass and the game is going to rock! I’m betting on the later with no doubt. We just added this game to our “must have in June” list. Shadows of the Damned is looking pretty DAMNED good! Check out the trailer.

This is the latest trailer from EA and DICE, the makers of Battlefield Bad Company. They are going out of their way to let you know this is not Battlefield Bad Company 3….This IS Battlefield 3. Using a brand new revamped build engine Frostbite2, this game is looking more and more like Vince Zampella, Jason West, and other former Infinity Ward programmers are hard at work to throw Call of Duty a hard devastating blow. Not a blow to its ego, a blow to the head that could kill Call of Duty. But lets keep in mind a few honest things: The video is from the PC version. The real question is what can they do on the consoles since that is where the money is. And: Remember the amazing trailer for Medal of Honor that looked like candy on a stick, and how the graphics popped out at you like never before? Remember the disappointment of the game and how incomplete it was (and is today)? Just keep these two things in mind as you drool and cream your jeans.
